Here in Yellowknife it truly is never a dull moment...
The long days of summer means everyone is outside soaking up the sun! There are festivals featuring music, art and food that goes until the early hours of the morning. Play a round of golf under the midnight sun. Take to the waters of Great Slave Lake on a fishing or sightseeing tour, complete with picnics on the sun warmed rocks surrounding Yellowknife Bay. Closer to town, climb the stairs to the Bush Pilot's Monument, wander the historic neighbourhood of Old Town, the trails scattered across the city, or choose the Prospector's Trail at Fred Henne Park.
Wander down the Ingraham Trail and spot some wildlife, chase the Northern Lights, or stop at one of the remote campsites for a paddle, picnic, or an overnight camping trip!
