There are many great shops and galleries that sell the detailed pieces artisans spend countless hours creating. Make sure if you’re here in the summer you check out the Farmer’s Market at Somba K’e Park for your one-stop-shop for everything Yellowknife, and make sure you stop in at the Fireweed Studio! Or if you’re visiting family during the holiday season, make your way to one of the many holiday markets.
Our community is proud of our Indigenous heritage and culture and encourages you to purchase goods made by the talented artisans in our community and attend a workshop hosted by a local craftsperson (just make sure it’s open to the general public before registering)!
